Grimmy carpet?

If your carpets could use some love simply spritz with a mix of vinegar and water (be careful to spritz lightly) then leave for an hour or so before vacuuming to help revive your carpets.

 

Cleaning faucets etc

If you experience hard water stains, then simply using some vinegar and water can help you get rid of these. To achieve this, soak some paper towels in some white vinegar then place this on the surface with hard water stains such as your faucets, bathtub etc. In a few hours, the stain should be gone!

Sunny Day Cleaning?

This is one of those spring cleaning hacks that you wouldn’t expect. However, it’s super cool.

If often feel like a smart idea to clean windows on sunny days. However, doing so will cause your cleaning solutions to dry out way to quickly and thus leave streaks on your window. A better time to clean windows is when it’s cloudy out. That way your cleaning solutions will not leave streaks.

Use newspaper and vinegar to have them gleaming.

 

Cleaning mattresses?

To do this strip off your bedding, then sprinkle baking soda all over making sure to leave it for at least 3 hours. Then you vacuum it up and have yourself a fresh bed!

 

Have rust?

 

In order to clean up rust from your toilets, sinks or bathtubs simply use resin bed cleaner and it’ll work magic!  You’ll need to get a foam brush and some resin bed cleaner. Use the foam brush to apply this to affected areas and wait a few minutes to clean out.

 

Remove Mildew

Apply vinegar to an old toothbrush or any scrub brush you own and you’ll be able to scrub away mildew in tight spots in your bathroom, your windows or a spot which experiences high moisture.

 

Disinfect Your Microwave

Using equal parts water and vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl, bring to a gentle boil to help loosen grease and food stuck in your microwave. Afterwards, wipe the insides down with a soft cloth and you’ll have a disinfected super clean appliance.

 

Wood scratches?

If your wood floors have endured a lot from your kids and pets over this past year, you can easily hide those scratches with vinegar and iodine. Make a mixture and Paint into the scratch with a fine brush and let it dry.

Apply more layers of iodine if on darker wood, and dilute for light-colored wood with more vinegar.
