It’s very easy to lose tons of weight quickly. Often times it tends to be water weight (for people who weigh a lot) but you can actually lose about a pound a day if you try hard enough and it all starts with your daily habits.
The only way to really lose weight is by consuming fewer calories than your body needs to function. That way, allowing your body to feed off of itself (which results in weight loss)
Here are 7 easy things you can do in order to lose 10 pounds in a week
1. Eat Low Card High Fat.
This diet is better known as the Keto Diet. It mainly involves a diet in which you eat fewer carbohydrates and a higher proportion of fat. By doing so, your body will them go into a state called ketosis, which helps you to burn actual fat and lose weight. There are millions of people getting great results from this weight loss strategy.

2. Do some exercises
Exercising is not a must in order to lose weight (although it does help in that department), however, it does help you to tone up which is actually pretty nice.
They don’t need to be the strenuous kind. But going on a few nice walks around the park of doing at least 15 minutes of skipping can help you get some cardio in which can help you burn some fat.
3. Cut out sugar
I love me some sugar, but when I feel I need to lose some weight the first thing that gets thrown out the window is sugar. We don’t really realize just how much sugar we actually consume every day, but it’s a lot. On average, someone who eats regular 3 meal diets + 2 beverages plus some snacks (especially packaged snacks) a day consumes 19.5 tsp of sugar per day. This equates to over 325 of calories just from sugar. Cutting this out (or at least reducing how much you intake) can help you trim down nicely and feel and look less bloated overall.
It’s recommended that men consume 9 tsp of sugar daily while women consume 6 tsp of sugar daily. However, it’s very difficult to ascertain just how much you’re consuming if you’re eating a lot of packaged food. Try your best to cut those out so that you’re more aware of your sugar intake.
4. Reduce your salt intake
Just like sugar, we eat way too much salt on a daily basis. It is recommended that we have between 1500-2300 mg per day, however, the average person consumes 3400 mg per day. This is a major deterrent to weight loss as it can make up feel and look very bloated.
Cutting down the amount of salt we consume is very helpful to weight loss.
5. Cut out dairy
One surefire way to slim down is to cut out dairy from your diet. It’s easier said than done, but it will help you to shed weight like never before. I’ve experimented with cutting out dairy and I actually was able to lose over 20 pounds in a month and a half. This is a bit difficult to maintain since its almost a habit to have either eggs or milk every morning, but it is very doable.
Many other people including some of my friends have reported tons of weight loss from cutting out dairy. Try this out to lose weight faster.
5. Eating one meal per day
So many people prescribe to eating 3 solid meals per day with 2 small snacks in between and while there is absolutely nothing wrong with this, this habit tends to enable us to consume way more calories than our body actually needs. Especially since our bodies only need 1200-1800 calories per day to function.
One way lots of people have been losing weight is by doing something called (OMAD) which stands for One Meal A Day. This simply means that you skip two meals throughout the day and then only eat one meal f choice, usually dinner. What this does it that it helps your body to feed off of itself throughout most of the day (which is what really helps us to lose weight). Then later at night, you allow yourself to eat one meal that remains under your calorie guidelines which is determined by your age, current weight, goal weight, gender and height (you can check these out here).
This helps you in two crucial ways:
1. It helps you actually allow our body to use up fat and energy sources that are available. Usually eating 3 solid meals and 2 snacks daily doesn’t allow our bodies to actually use up all the energy stores we’re putting in. We keep adding energy on top of energy on top of energy i.e more food and this is why most of us gain weight.
2. It helps you enjoy the feeling of having a feast-like meal, which many people enjoy. This, in turn, keeps you motivated to keep doing it and seeing results.
6. Try the alkaline diet.
The diet consists of only natural alkaline vegetables, fruits, nuts, alkaline grains, and legumes, which would alkalize and remove mucus from the body which in turn can help you lose massive amounts of weight in a very healthy way.
