So lately I’ve been a stickler for cleaning my home, particularly my bathroom. There’s something about starting a new year that makes me want to make sure that EVERYTHING is spotless, organized and in order. Anyone else obsessing over planners and organization ideas like I am? Let me know below.

In my quest to make sure that my home is spotless, I’ve come up with a few interesting bathroom cleaning hacks that I think you’ll really love.

They get the job done, they are super easy and most of them are really affordable, you’ll wanna stick with these bathroom cleaning hacks for a very long time.

Cleaning mirrors

You can use a damp cloth and toothpaste or shaving cream to make your mirrors shine. Simply find a tube of toothpaste or shaving cream, smear it all over the surface of your mirror. Then wipe it off with a lightly damp washcloth for a super shiny look. This seriously helps get rid of scum from mirrors.

It’s also great for cleaning up your faucets and making them shine.

Cleaning Showerheads

Using vinegar on your shower head can make it shine like never before. Using a plastic bag, fill it up about half way with vinegar 9making sure no to fill it past halfway. Tie this vinegar filled bag over our shower head and let it sit for a few hours (or overnight depending on how dirty your shower head is).

Make sure the shower head is submerged in the vinegar. Once it’s been soaking for a while takedown and scrub the shower head with an old toothbrush. Then buff and dry it up with a soft cloth for a super clean showerhead!

 

Cleaning your tub

If you have a constant battle with keeping your tub clean, then using this power scrubber is the answer for you. This is especially great if you’re constantly battling soap scam from your tub as it will help you get it right off.

Cleaning Curtain Liners

Throw these in the wash to get them clean really easily and effectively. To do this, put it into the washing machine with some detergent or 1/2 cup baking soda. I recommend adding a few towels in with the liner during the cycle to help protect it during the wash.

 

Cleaning stainless steel bathroom sink faucet

Using a grapefruit and some salt can have your stainless steel bathroom sink looking super clean. In order to clean your sink and or faucet, you simply cut a grapefruit in half, sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of salt on the half grapefruit and proceed to scrub.

This will help remove rust or any stains that appear on the sink. Then rinse with some clean water and dry with a dry cloth.

 

Cleaning up mold

If you have mold or mildew a simple solution of hydrogen peroxide and water can help you get rid of it. You simply pour some peroxide into a spray bottle. Saturate the moldy surface completely and leave it to sit for 15 minutes. Then you scrub the area to remove all of the mold and mold stains. Wipe it off and the mold will be gone.
